DSO module on AIX 7.1

I installed the rpm package proftpd 1.3.5.-1/1.3.5b-2 from www.perzl.org and when trying to load any DSO modules i have

I too have had issues with DSO modules with proftpd from perlz.org.

In the end I compiled a version from source, with the modules I needed included, rather than use DSO.

The gcc compiler works fine, and the instructions on perlz.org show you what to do.

The sources have them taken from Perlz or proftd site?
I had tried to compile it, but I got errors, can you help me with what options you did compile.
