vroot and ldap (rewrite?)
« on: August 14, 2013, 07:07:38 am »
Hey guys,

I have the following situation. I have a few directories like
Code: [Select]
/media/ftp/person1/up
/media/ftp/person1/down
/media/ftp/person2/up
/media/ftp/person2/down

person1 and person2 are the UIDs that are stored in the LDAP-Directory with the password.

I want to display the folders for ever user above like this

Code: [Select]
~/up
~/down

So I thought I could do it with mod_vroot and %u
Code: [Select]
<IfModule mod_vroot.c>
        VRootEngine on

        VRootAlias /media/ftp/up/%u /up
        VRootAlias /media/ftp/down/%u /down
</IfModule>

But without DefaultRoot it doesn't seem to work :/

Is there a way to do this? Maybe with rewrite? I hope you can give me some hints.

Thanks,

Hans
